Black woman in golden light, eyes closed, face turned to the sun
Black Women's Health and Wellness in Fertility, Pregnancy, Postpartum, & Perimenopause
Exhale.

You have found the right place.

You do not have to carry your body's changes alone. Nesting in You is a health and wellness coaching practice for Black women in every season: trying to conceive, carrying, recovering, and changing in midlife. Led by Fenyx Williams, with thirteen years in maternity care and a decade before that in the rooms where Black women go to be tended.

You are in the right place

You have been managing this with a search bar. Here, you are held.

For the woman who has been told her pain is normal, her numbers are fine, and her feelings will pass. This is the room where all of it is taken seriously, and all of you is welcome.

The approach

We do this HER Way.

HER Way is how the work happens inside Nesting in You. You decide how you move through your season, on your own terms, at the pace that fits your life and your goals. I bring the education, the preparation, and the steady presence beside you.

H
Hear her
Before anything is taught or planned, you are heard, in your own words, without me reaching for a fix.
E
Educate her
You leave knowing what your body is doing and what your options are. Understanding is what turns anxiety into agency.
R
Restore her
The work does not end at coping. Restoration returns you to yourself, your energy, and your rhythm.

Nothing here runs on a script. Your season, your goals, and your pace set the direction, and the work is built to fit the life you are actually living.

The support

One practice. Every season.

Most coaches pick a lane, so you start over with someone new each time your body changes. Here, you never have to explain your history twice.

CoverHER

A prayer circle for every woman, and those who tend her.

Every Thursday we gather to cover one another in prayer: women in fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and midlife, and the doulas, midwives, and birth workers who walk beside them. You are prayed for by name.

  • Free and open to every woman, client or not
  • Scripture, a short word, and intercession
  • Every Thursday at 8:00 PM, same link, same time
  • Nothing is sold on this call

Meet Fenyx

Ten years caring for skin. Thirteen at the bedside. One practice.

Before I ever stood in a labor room, I spent ten years working professionally with skin, in day spas, med spas, and skin clinics, almost always in Black spaces and with Black women. That is where I learned what it means to be trusted with someone's body, and how much a woman will tell you once she feels safe.

Then came thirteen years of direct clinical maternity care: labor and delivery, the NICU, postpartum, high-risk OB. I watched how completely women were supported through birth and how quietly they were left alone with everything after it. And I watched Black women's pain get discounted at every stage, not just the maternal ones.

Nesting in You is my answer. One practice that stays with a woman from her first questions about her cycle through the change in midlife, holding the clinical understanding and the human one at the same time.

Thirteen-plus years of direct clinical maternity care. Labor and delivery, NICU, postpartum, and high-risk OB.
Certified birth and postpartum doula. Trained across the full arc of birth and recovery.
National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach candidate. Studying functional medicine coaching.
Ten years in professional skincare. Day spas, med spas, and clinical skin practices.
Founder of Nesting in You. And a mother of four daughters.
Questions women ask

Before you book.

Do you only work with Black women?

No. I work with all women. I center Black women because this practice was built for the gaps we are most often left in, and because being seen clearly is where good care begins. But this journey is sacred, and every woman deserves to be uplifted, covered, and guided. Every woman deserves the knowledge to make informed decisions and give informed consent, and the room to move through her seasons with self-advocacy and self-agency. If that is the support you are looking for, you are welcome here.

What does a health and wellness coach actually do?

A coach partners with you over time to build understanding, habits, and self-trust. I am not your doctor and I do not diagnose or treat. I help you understand what your care team is telling you, prepare for what is coming, and build a rhythm that holds in your real life.

How is coaching different from doula care?

A doula supports an event: presence, comfort, and advocacy around birth and the earliest weeks. A coach supports a transformation across a whole season. I am certified in both, which is why childbirth preparation and virtual doula support live inside a coaching relationship that does not end when the birth is over.

Do you work with women outside Arizona?

Yes. All coaching, childbirth preparation, and virtual doula support are available to women anywhere. In-person doula care and in-home postpartum support are reserved for Phoenix-area and Arizona clients.

Do you take insurance or AHCCCS?

Not at this time. Nesting in You is a private-pay practice with published pricing and payment plans available on every package, so you always know the cost before you commit.

I am not pregnant. Is this still for me?

Yes. Maternity is my deepest room, not my only one. Fertility and cycle health, midlife and menopause, and skin and body support are all part of this practice.

Do I have to be a client to join CoverHER?

No. CoverHER is free and open to any Black woman who wants to be prayed for and to pray for others. Nothing is sold on that call.
